Yes. Chabad of Rikers is a project of Chabad Lubavitch, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You'll receive an emailed receipt immediately, and a year-end summary for your records.
Donations fund chaplain visits, kosher provisions, holiday programs, family support, and reentry services. We keep overhead low — the overwhelming majority of every gift reaches the island directly.
